At ALMIGHTY, children are given an open space to maneuver a paintbrush and dabble in the world of imagination and self-expression. Art and Craft exhibitions are held regularly where children display their own imagination in varied ways, learn to work in a team, follow instructions, and foster their creative self.
Music is the rhythm of life. Music at ALMIGHTY allows children to enhance their memory skills and helps the body and the mind work together. Children learn poems and songs, follow the rhythm, and enhance their vocabulary along with boosting their confidence. Special assemblies are organized regularly to make children familiar with the rich culture of India. Various competitions are also organized from time to time to help children improve their confidence and speaking skills.
The essence of music is the harmonious production of melodious sound in which human beings find solace and relaxation. Music lessons are part of the curriculum for classes I to VIII and are offered as an optional subject for IX to XII. Children learn different instruments like Sitar, Harmonium, Synthesizer, Tablas, Congo, Violin, Banjo, Guitar, and Drums during regular and hobby classes. The School choir is the musical face of the School in all its celebrations.
Performing Art and Drama at ALMIGHTY Kindergarten provide an exceptional opportunity for young learners to express themselves and explore a variety of emotions, building their confidence as well as public speaking skills. Role plays, show and tell are conducted on a regular basis to give each child an opportunity to explore various fields for excellence.
During dance classes, children are taught to put their best foot forward and develop a sense of rhythm. They learn to discipline their body and mind through basic dance steps. Learning about ‘mudras’ and practicing yoga helps the child to develop flexibility. Performances on various occasions instill confidence and provide exposure to and respect for the diversity in Indian culture.
